Inspired by the Milwaukee Art Museum Grasshopper reconstruction – solar animation
The Quadracci Pavilion is the iconic sculptural addition to the Milwaukee Art Museum designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Highlights of the building, completed in 2001, are the magnificent cathedral-like space of Windhover Hall, with a vaulted a 90-foot-high glass ceiling; the Burke Brise Soleil, a moveable sunscreen with a 217-foot wingspan that unfolds and folds twice daily; and the Reiman Bridge, a pedestrian suspension bridge that connects the Museum to the city. Il s’agit d’évaluer le secteur situé entre la rue du Sergent Blandan, l’avenue Hyppolyte Maringer et le Parc Sainte Marie à Nancy. Il se trouve 3 piscines dont une extérieure. Le projet inclura la réhabilitation des deux piscines intérieures historiques (inaugurées en 1913) et une réimplantation de la piscine extérieure (idéalement en accès direct avec le bassin olympique intérieur afin de créer un bassin nordique attenant au bassin rectangulaire intérieur).
L’étude d’ensoleillement porte sur l’ensemble du site balisé ci-dessus, en tenant compte de l’existant : les arbres du Parc, les habitations alentour et les deux bâtiments historiques existant. Continuer la lecture de Masques solaires urbains→
