Des valeurs trop d\u00e9taill\u00e9es prolongeraient \u00e0 l\u2019infini le calcul. Cliquer sur Start. Chaque changement de position de la cam\u00e9ra demandera un nouveau calcul de la sc\u00e8ne lumineuse. Le r\u00e9sultat se fait sur les pixels de l\u2019image. La <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">radiosit\u00e9<\/span> va calculer l\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e9mise et re\u00e7ue en chaque point de la sc\u00e8ne. Comme le calcul de chaque photon sur le moindre point de la sc\u00e8ne se r\u00e9v\u00e9lerait beaucoup trop co\u00fbteux en terme de temps de calcul, l\u2019espace est d\u00e9coup\u00e9 en petits secteurs (triangulaires ou carr\u00e9s). On dira que ce qui se passe au centre de chaque secteur est applicable \u00e0 la surface compl\u00e8te de ce secteur. Une fois la sc\u00e8ne calcul\u00e9e, les r\u00e9sultats sont utilisables quelque soit le point de vue. Ce qui est un gain de temps par la suite. La lumi\u00e8re peut m\u00eame \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9e comme texture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le monde physique<\/strong> : ce sont les param\u00e8tres de la sc\u00e8ne, la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie, les ouvertures, les lumi\u00e8res, les surfaces des mat\u00e9riaux. Puis la fa\u00e7on dont ce monde physique sera \u00ab discr\u00e9tis\u00e9 \u00bb en petites surfaces sur lesquelles les calculs seront faits. Bien entendu, plus les surfaces seront petites meilleurs seront les r\u00e9sultats du calcul.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le calcul<\/strong> : le calcul de l\u2019\u00e9nergie de la sc\u00e8ne est un processus qui peut \u00eatre long (tr\u00e8s long parfois).
