Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 fouill\u00e9 par l\u2019arch\u00e9ologue Xos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Bello Di\u00e9guez entre 1987 et 1989. Le tumulus fait 24 m\u00e8tres de diam\u00e8tre et 1,80 m de haut.
